The international geological congress (referred to by scientists as the geology olympic games) recently held in Oslo, Norway featured the opinions and viewpoints of many scientists openly skeptical of the “man made global warming consensus“. The conference, held from the 4th to the 14th of August, was criticized by the activists at RealClimate.org, apparently for being too balanced and allowing scientists opposed to current global warming views to have a forum!

Ahluwalia of the Center of Advanced Study in Geology at Punjab University. However, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has documented the potential threats to human ecosystems posed by global warming, and a recent National Academy of Sciences (NAS) report confirmed the scientific consensus that “human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming” of the planet.
